Our Story
It started with one carpenter's refusal to cut corners
Metro Kitchen began as a small workshop run by Mr. Mohan Kumar — a craftsman who learned the trade the long way: on site, with a measuring tape and a chisel.
In the early years he noticed the same thing on every job. Kitchens looked beautiful on handover day and fell apart within two monsoons — because someone had substituted the ply, or skipped the edge banding, or used hardware that was never rated for the weight it carried.
So he built the company around a simple rule: nothing leaves our unit that we would not install in our own home. Twenty-five years and 500+ homes later, that rule has not moved.

Mr. Mohan Kumar
Founder & Master Craftsman
Mohan personally attends the first site visit on every project. He takes the measurements himself, checks the plumbing and electrical points, and tells you honestly what will work in your space and what will not — even when that means a smaller order.
On installation day, he is on site. That is the difference between a company that sells kitchens and a company that builds them.
